I just recently bought a 3.1 Phillip Lim jacket.
I love the cut on the jacket - it's double breasted, but with two layers of buttons - so..., it's double breasted inside, and outside of these buttons, it's double breasted again. And you can see the inner layer of buttons while just buttoning the bottom buttons of the outer layer. Have I overused the words: button, breasted, and layered too much in these last two sentences?

I am in LOVE with the jacket regardless.

I didn't know that Phillip Lim's line 3.1 has only been in existence for 3 years - since 2004; and was almost an instant success. He hails from California, and has won/been nominated for quite a few awards. His first store - in soho - just opened this year, with a men's and accessories line to keep the women's line company.

Pretty impressive....., I think I would like to own more.
