Finally! FW08 has finally commenced in New York.
So far (after browsing four shows - which obviously is not very many), I've noticed that there's a slight trend leaning towards a baggier fit. Cardigans - whether delicate, heavy, long, or short - are abundant. Wear it loose. I like the look. It's comfortable and casual, but still looks well put-together and finished. Like a very fashion-conscious and well-paid librarian.
Skirts abound: pencil, mini, poufy, loose. Wear them with dark and thicker pantyhose.
