the big D's

d2 squared and dolce & gabbana showed at the end of Milan fashion week.

There was a lot of white and sheers at the Dolce & Gabbana show (similar to Fendi). Fabric that looked paint-smattered or paint-streaked, in a multitude of colours, also showed in a few dresses. Similar patterned fabric - sometimes in a messier pattern, or in a pattern that looks like a cross between an animal print and tie-dye showed in other shows i've seen (such as House of Holland). The sandals at the Dolce and Gabbana show are akin to the ones i've seen in 80% of the other shows i've looked at. (I can't describe them, see photo above).

The black dresses at the DSquared show were a cross between sexy lingerie and silky black evening wear. There was also a smattering of white and yellow mini's and purple evening dresses that made there way into the show. I like the big, bulky gold chains that were worn around the necks of a few of the models.
